Silva Military Grade Compass - 6400 MILS/360 Degrees

The sighting compass is specifically designed for experienced navigators and is trusted by NATO Forces worldwide. It is primarily utilized by infantry as a soldier's or officer's compass. Key features of this compass include measuring scales for positioning (GPS), graduation in mils and degrees (6400/360), an integrated adjuster for magnetic declination, a magnifying lens, and rubber feet for accurate map work. The compass is equipped with a luminous graduation ring and markings to allow for easy reading in low light conditions. It can provide light for up to 4 hours when activated by daylight or a flashlight.

The compass comes with a scale lanyard and slope card, making it convenient to quickly assess distances along a route or plan in advance. It has an accuracy of ± 1° (17.8 mils) and can be used up to an altitude of 5000m at -15 °C. It also features a clinometer, declination adjustment, and is resistant to impacts up to 30g in various directions and heights.

Made from a combination of acrylic/acetal, PC/ABS, and TPU materials, the compass is durable and reliable. It includes patented red/black N/S lines in the capsule, resolution in degrees/mils of 2/50, and scales in mm and inches. The settling time from a 90° angle to complete rest is 5 seconds, and within ± 3° is 2.7 seconds. The compass has a mirror sighting system, silicon friction feet, and falls under the Silva 1-2-3 System mirror sighting compass category.

It also features UTM position plotting scales (Romer scales) of 1:25k and 1:50k. The compass has variants for the Magnetic Equator, Magnetic North, and Magnetic South, and is waterproof with a weight of 86g. Operating temperature ranges from -30 to +60°C, making it suitable for a variety of environments.
