This traditional baseplate compass is equipped with a global needle, making it flexible and usable all around the world. Included with the compass are a slope card and a distance lanyard. The slope card is essential for assessing avalanche risk and determining the difficulty of your journey based on the slope. It also allows you to calculate any additional distance required due to the incline. The distance lanyard includes four scales: 1:24k, 1:25k, 1:50k, and 1:62.5, making it easy to measure the distance of your hike. Its soft and bendable design allows for easy placement directly on your map.

The Ranger Global compass features a DryFlex grip for comfortable handling and comes with a declination scale inside the capsule for simplified calculations. It also includes a magnifying lens, base plate map-measuring in mm, and scales of 1:25k and 1:50k. The curved-up back-end of the baseplate ensures a perfect fit in your hand. The red/black north-south lines in the capsule bottom aid in easy and safe orientation.

With distinct arrow and markings in a clear modern font and high transparency in the baseplate, navigating becomes easier. When activated in light, the luminous markings allow for night-time navigation for up to 4 hours. The needle is crafted from fine Swedish steel with exceptional magnetic properties.
